Process Engineer Team Leader
The Process Engineer Team Leader supports manufacturing activities by ensuring the integrity of the Industrialization process, GSM recipes for production, optimal equipment configuration, and manufacturing cost routes and instructions, aligning with production resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Scale-up and commercialization of laboratory paint formulas.
2. Provide solutions for production routes, acting as a bridge between R&D and manufacturing.
3. Support batch consistency through First Run Capability (FRC) or First Time Quality (FTQ), ensuring 100% FLA with no adjustments for stable items.
4. Assist in root cause analysis of non-conformities to achieve 80% RCE identification.
5. Propose process standards that can be strengthened or better defined.
6. Contribute feedback on external problem-solving discussions with customers, supporting SSPL / AMU strategies.
GSM / Oracle R12 Manufacturing Support:
1. Support formula drivers in the system.
2. Ensure cost-effective conversion of raw materials to finished goods.
3. Develop 3 Value Stream Maps (VSM) and identify activities for potential revision and optimization.
4. Support the creation of standard process instructions for production.
Manufacturing EHS & Quality System:
* Develop and maintain EHS and local process requirements such as PSM, PHA’s, PSSR’s, and work instructions.
Process Engineer Level Team Leader:
* Recognized as a process and product expert supporting the plant.
* Support the Process Safety Plant Committee with hazard and risk analyses.
* Manage and maintain multiple unit operations and associated equipment and technologies.
* Support start-up and management of complex unit operations.
* Apply LEAN Sigma, Green Belt, DOE, or other quality tools.
* Demonstrate customer presentation skills.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
* Strong interpersonal and human relations skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to effectively drive project tasks forward.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
