Mission
* Ensure the seamless and efficient operation of the R&D center, fostering a collaborative environment where multiple companies and research entities can thrive and coordinate daily activities, solving site issues and optimizing resource utilization while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
* Ensure all companies at the R&D site comply with site regulations and processes.
* Engage in proactive planning for upcoming site activities, including seminars and events to foster collaboration.
* Coordinate and address additional requirements from companies at the R&D Site.
* Lead regular R&D site coordination meetings (set agendas, facilitate meetings, develop minutes).
* Oversee budgets, track expenditures, invoice items, and ensure proper use of funds in collaboration with R&D finance and facilities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Assess site optimization opportunities for Almirall or other organizations and lead exploration from technical and financial perspectives.
* Support projects and alliances management.
* Perform any other duties as required by the Head of the department.
Education & Experience
* Professional experience in the R&D pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
Skills & Competences
* Understanding of scientific and R&D processes.
* Decision-making skills.
* Regulatory and compliance knowledge.
