About the Role
As a Key Account Manager – Direct Channel, you will play an important role in growing and strengthening relationships with strategic customers in the industrial automation sector.
This is a great opportunity for someone who combines commercial drive with a customer-focused mindset and enjoys spotting opportunities, building strong partnerships, and turning ideas into results. You will work closely with both customers and internal teams to support sustainable business growth and deliver real value.
This role is based in Terrassa, Spain and has hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with key customers and identify opportunities to grow the business in the north of Spain & Basque Country.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
Develop and keep account plans up to date, including growth opportunities, risks, and next steps.
Review won and lost business to understand what works and where we can improve.
Engage different stakeholders and connect proposals to clear business value.
Identify internal obstacles and suggest practical improvements.
Support commercially sound deal structures that balance growth, risk, pricing, and service performance.
Present clear, data-based updates during monthly and quarterly business reviews.
What you Bring
Fluency in Spanish & English (company language), Basque is a strong plus.
A background in engineering or experience with pneumatic/hydraulic solutons.
Strong commercial awareness and a proactive, opportunity-driven mindset.
Experience in prospecting and qualifying leads.
Confidence in consultative selling and understanding customer needs.
The ability to communicate value clearly and influence stakeholders.
Experience in objection handling and negotiation.
Strong opportunity and pipeline management skills.
Good CRM and sales process discipline, ideally in Salesforce.
Strong self-management skills and the ability to stay resilient.
