The position of the Process Engineer Team Leader, under the supervision of the department's management team, is defined to support manufacturing activities as the gatekeeper of the Industrialization process. This role involves ensuring GSM recipes for production, providing optimal equipment configurations, and developing manufacturing cost routes and instructions that correctly allocate production resources.
Job FunctionsFirst Lot Control / Launch / Industrialization Contributions:
* Scale-up and commercialization of laboratory paint formulas.
* Provide solutions for production routes and serve as a bridge between R&D and plant manufacturing scale.
* Support department in the FLC gatekeeping process.
* Ensure batch consistency as defined by FRC or FTQ, achieving 100% FLA without adjustments for stable items within the FLC cycle.
Improvement Loop / Efficiency:
* Support root cause analysis of internal non-conformities to achieve 80% RCE identification.
* Propose process standards that can be strengthened or better defined.
* Provide feedback during external problem-solving discussions with customers and support SSPL/AMU strategies.
GSM / Oracle R12 Manufacturing Support:
* Support formula drivers in the system.
* Implement cost-effective raw material to finished goods conversions.
Innovation Support:
* Develop 3 VSMs and contribute to identifying activities for potential revision and optimization.
* Support creation of process standards and production instructions.
Manufacturing EHS & Quality System:
* Develop and maintain local process and EHS requirements such as PSM, PHA’s, PSSR’s, and work instructions.
Process Engineer Level Team Leader:
* Be recognized as a process and product expert supporting the plant.
* Assist the Plant Process Safety Committee in hazards and risks analysis.
* Manage multiple unit operations, equipment, and process technologies.
* Support start-up and management of complex unit operations.
* Apply LEAN Sigma, Green Belt, DOE, or other quality tools.
* Demonstrate customer presentation skills.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
* Proficient in English: C1 level.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to drive project tasks effectively and positively.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
