Job Purpose
To support the Outlet Manager or Outlet Senior Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the outlet, ensuring service excellence, guest satisfaction, and smooth team coordination. The Outlet Assistant Manager plays a key operational role on the floor, supervising service teams, maintaining standards, and ensuring an efficient workflow throughout service periods.
This role contributes to the outlet’s success by ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, supporting team development, and maintaining a positive and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Excellence
Supervise daily outlet operations, ensuring smooth coordination and consistent service delivery.
Act as shift leader, maintaining a strong presence on the floor to monitor quality and service flow.
Support the Outlet Manager in ensuring adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP and internal policies).
Assist in planning and executing outlet activities, promotions, and special events.
Team Management & Development
Supervise, guide, and support the service team to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new and returning seasonal team members.
Foster teamwork and motivation, creating a positive and collaborative work atmosphere.
Financial & Business Performance
Support daily sales activities, upselling, and cost control initiatives in line with divisional objectives.
Assist in monitoring stock, waste, and operational costs to ensure efficiency.
Contribute to achieving revenue targets through effective service and guest engagement.
Guest Experience & Service Quality
Ensure every guest receives attentive, professional, and friendly service.
Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
Support a culture of continuous improvement based on guest feedback and internal reviews.
Coordination & Communication
Ensure effective communication with Culinary, Bar, and other departments for smooth operation.
Participate in daily briefings and service meetings, communicating priorities and updates to the team.
Support clear and consistent information flow between management and service employees.
Accountability
Accountable for the smooth execution of outlet operations during assigned shifts.
Responsible for supervising service quality, maintaining standards, and supporting team performance.
Acts as delegated leader in the absence of the Outlet Manager or Outlet Senior Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or senior employee, ideally within luxury hotel or resort environments.
Fluency in English.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Good knowledge of food and beverage service; basic wine knowledge is a plus.
Ability to multitask and solve problems under pressure.
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality would be a plus.
