Resident DJ & Entertainment Manager – Max Beach

Max Beach, one of the Costa del Sol’s most iconic beachfront venues, is looking for a Resident DJ & Entertainment Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a creative, energetic, and highly organized individual to bring world-class music and entertainment to our guests while managing the full entertainment program at Max Beach.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident DJ
Perform as the resident DJ during key nights, weekends, and special events.
Deliver high-energy sets aligned with the brand identity of Max Beach.
Curate music styles across different times of day (sunset, dinner, late-night).
Entertainment & Talent Management
Recruit, schedule, and manage all DJs, live performers, and entertainers.
Liaise with external artists, agencies, and performers for collaborations and guest bookings.
Ensure smooth running of entertainment programming from start to finish.
Production & Technical Management
Oversee and maintain all sound, lighting, and DJ equipment.
Manage staging, special effects, and technical production for shows and events.
Coordinate with third-party suppliers for equipment upgrades, rentals, or repairs.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and equipment guidelines.
Event & Show Coordination
Develop and execute a seasonal entertainment calendar.
Work closely with F&B and marketing teams to design entertainment concepts for themed nights, beach parties, brunches, and special occasions.
Supervise rehearsals, soundchecks, and run-of-show for performances.
Leadership & Administration
Manage entertainment budgets, invoices, and contracts.
Build and lead a team of DJs, performers, and technicians.
Handle entertainment-related logistics, including artist hospitality, transport, and schedules.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DJ with strong technical skills and a versatile music profile.
Previous experience in entertainment management within hospitality, nightlife, or large venues.
Strong knowledge of sound and lighting systems.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
