This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director Analyst, Security Architecture and Cloud Security in Canada and EMEA.
This role is adecuado for a seasoned security professional with deep expertise in enterprise security architecture and cloud security. You will serve as a thought leader, providing actionable guidance to security teams, executives, and clients across industries. The position combines research, advisory, and client-facing responsibilities, enabling organizations to implement best practices in security and cloud architecture. You will deliver high-impact insights, develop frameworks, and communicate emerging trends to help organizations balance innovation with risk management. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, engage in global research, and collaborate with leading technology professionals in a hybrid, high-performing environment.
Accountabilities
- Conduct thought leadership research and deliver actionable guidance on enterprise security architecture and cloud security.
- Advise security technical professionals—including architects, engineers, and operations managers—on best practices and emerging trends.
- Create high-value presentation materials for virtual briefings, conferences, and internal / external events.
- Collaborate with peers to ideate, innovate, and produce impactful research content for clients worldwide.
- Maintain awareness of developments in security frameworks, cloud platforms, and market dynamics, providing timely insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Synthesize complex technical and business data into concise, actionable recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in security architecture, engineering, operations, or related technology roles.
- Subject matter expertise in enterprise security architecture, including frameworks such as SABSA or NIST CSF.
- Strong hands-on experience applying security architecture end-to-end, from business analysis to technical component selection.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, including native controls for major IaaS providers and technologies such as CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, SSE, and container security.
- Ability to analyze competitive landscapes, emerging vendors, and trends in cloud security.
- Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills; capable of engaging technical and executive audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Willingness to travel regionally and globally as needed.
