**ABOUT EXPANISH**Expanish is an award-winning Spanish language school and study abroad provider with locations in Barcelona, Madrid, and Málaga (Spain) as well as Buenos Aires (Argentina). For over 16 years we have offered high-quality Spanish language programs and cultural experiences for students from all around the world.**POSITION OVERVIEW**This position is responsible for maintaining and cultivating relationships with travel agencies and other partners in Europe.The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be the main point of contact for companies and sales staff in Europe who are beginning, continuing, or expanding their relationship with Expanish. Most of your outreach can be done virtually, but this position should expect that some travel within Europe will be helpful in achieving the position’s goals.**Business Development with Travel Agencies - 40%**- Manages relationships with travel agencies and other partners in Europe, maintaining existing and cultivating new partnerships- Serves as a general Expanish liaison and designs & executes strategies for effectively engaging partner institutions with the goal of promoting Expanish- Organizes and facilitates virtual promotional events, such as info sessions- Define market-specific promotions and strategies- Initiates and manages institutional agreements- Develops operational processes, such as setting up registration and billing arrangements- Assists agencies with special requests and efforts to integrate Expanish into their program portfolios**Management of Relationship with Existing Partners - 30%**- Coordinates ongoing communication with agency partners- Conducts online and in-person trainings with agency staff to help increase brand familiarity- Provides pre-sale support to partners to achieve sales goals- Coordinates with partners working together on special projects**Group Sale Management - 20%**- Helps create group proposals upon request with local staff in Argentina and Spain- Manages sales funnel of upcoming group proposals**Project Management - 10%**- May be responsible for managing specific projects or programs that Expanish offers to help its partners internationalize and/or organize/help organize events- Attends occasional conferences or in-person meetings in Europe.**Qualifications**- Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the travel or tourism industry.- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or other similar fields required.- Experienced in planning and executing sales/marketing activities.- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Fluency in English is required, advanced Spanish and other language skills is a plus- Flexible and adaptable, always ready to adjust to a rapidly changing environment.**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: 1,800.00€ - 3,000.00€ per monthCOVID-19 considerations:We follow the guidelines of the Cataluña regional government.Ability to commute/relocate:- Barcelona, Barcelona: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- sales: 3 years (required)**Language**:- English (required)- Spanish (preferred)
