Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow) - Role Overview:
Forming part of the global marketing team and reporting directly to the CMO, this position involves designing, leading, and executing a variety of events of different sizes and formats. Responsibilities include managing Dida’s tradeshow presence worldwide and coordinating external and internal events to enhance brand perception and attendee experience. We seek creative candidates with proven experience in organizing high-quality events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and scheduling.
* Oversee large-scale B2B events such as conferences, trade shows, roadshows, and partner summits across multiple regions.
* Create and manage sponsorship programs in collaboration with the commercial team.
Attendee Experience & Engagement:
* Design attendee journeys to maximize engagement and satisfaction.
* Coordinate registration, ticketing, and platform integration for seamless management.
* Ensure high-quality content delivery, including speaker coordination and interactive sessions.
Logistics & Operations:
* Lead on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, A/V, catering, and transportation.
* Manage relationships with venues, vendors, and exhibitors for flawless delivery.
* Oversee event technology such as virtual/hybrid platforms and lead retrieval systems.
Marketing & Promotion:
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and manage post-event follow-up.
* Develop branding, signage, and promotional materials consistent with corporate identity.
* Utilize social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to expand event reach.
Budget & Performance Analysis:
* Monitor and control event budgets to ensure cost-efficiency and ROI.
* Measure success using KPIs like attendance, engagement, lead generation, and satisfaction surveys.
* Provide post-event reports and insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in event management, preferably in B2B travel, tech, or hospitality sectors.
* Proven success in organizing large, multi-day events with over 500 attendees.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
* Fluent in English; additional languages like Mandarin are advantageous.
* Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and attendee experience design.
* Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event platforms.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
