Data Scientist Intern
We are currently recruiting a Data Scientist Intern to work with and strengthen our Atlantica Corporate Resources, S.L team based in the Generic Location office.
Responsibilities
- Support the transformation of business problems into simple analytical solutions under supervision.
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and exploring structured and unstructured data.
- Help build and test prototypes and basic statistical models.
- Support the application of basic visualization and reporting techniques.
- Assist in updating KPIs and preparing summary reports.
- Provide documentation for data research and model development activities.
- Follow departmental processes and assist with ad hoc assigned tasks.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Physics, or similar.
Personal Skills
- Eager to learn, analytical, and detail‑oriented.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Organized and reliable.
- Able to follow instructions and escalates issues when needed.
Technical Qualifications
- Knowledge in data analytics, statistical analysis, or business intelligence.
- Basic knowledge of statistical packages and programming (Python, SQL, Excel).
- Familiarity with exploratory analysis and basic algorithmic model building.
- Willingness to learn new analytical tools and technologies.
