As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing the entire global supply chain.As Supply Chain Manager, you will be the key architect of our procurement and material flow strategy. You will manage the complete purchasing process for direct materials and coordinate indirect procurement activities. This includes obtaining quotations, conducting price and contract negotiations, selecting and qualifying suppliers, and overseeing contract and supplier management—always with a clear Bill of Materials (BOM) in mind.You will also provide strong input to Product Management to continuously improve our product portfolio in terms of content, pricing, and quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing working capital and ensuring a smooth flow of goods within the company and to our customers.
Key responsibilities
1. End-to-end responsibility for global procurement of direct materials and coordination of indirect purchasing
2. Develop and maintain BOM structures and ensure cost transparency
3. Obtain quotations, lead price and contract negotiations, and manage supplier relationships
4. Select, qualify, and evaluate suppliers to ensure loyalty and quality
5. Drive contract and supplier management processes
6. Provide strategic input to Product Management for portfolio optimization
7. Optimize working capital and manage internal and external material flows
8. Ensure compliance with quality standards and audit requirements
9. Supplier loyalty and quality

Your qualifications
11. Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent (e.g., certified master craftsman)
12. More than 10 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain management
13. Business-fluent in German and English
14. Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships effectively
15. Analytical mindset combined with hands-on implementation skills
16. Experience in the following areas is desirable:SAP, Audit, Six Sigma, Reliability Engineering, Scrum, 8D, FMEA, SFM
