Pb The Opportunity /b /p p We are looking for an b RD Senior Power Electronics Engineer /b to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of advanced power conversion systems used across energy storage, photovoltaic applications, and grid‑connected solutions. You will work in a modern laboratory environment and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary RD team to bring innovative power electronic products from concept to industrialization. /p pb How You’ll Make an Impact /b /p ulli Selection, qualification and verification of semiconductors, passive components and protection devices /lili Support a fast, iterative design process in a cross-functional, dedicated team. Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly. /lili Perform commissioning tasks for power conversion and control systems for interfacing with storage systems in the laboratory. /lili Build up and maintain measurement test setups to verify performance, efficiency and robustness /lili Working in modern laboratories; bringing up prototypes; evaluating designs limits /lili Technical analysis of logs, errors, signals, and metrics; generation of clear and reusable reports to support engineering, quality, and certification. /lili Perform validation tests in the factory and in the field for prototype power conversion and control systems. /lili Component qualification and product certification processes. /lili Preparation of validation reports and technical documentation. /lili Creation of instructions and associated documentation for product deployment and operation. /li /ul pb Your Background /b /p ulli BSc/MSc degree in engineering or an equivalent field as min requrirement. /lili Experience in the design of electrical systems and power electronics converters and their control. /lili Experience with simulation tools (Spice, PSCAD, Simulink, PLECS…) /lili Experience with specification, selection and qualification of power devices, and passive components like DC capacitors and filter components /lili Previous experience in commissioning power converters, and the use and operation of measurement equipment and laboratory instrumentation will be valued. /lili Experience in managing, preparing, and executing prototype tests, customer tests, or product certifications, as well as preparing the corresponding test result reports, will be highly valued. /lili Interpretation of electrical schematics. /lili Advanced knowledge in power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC). /lili Knowledge and experience in photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems, especially in the operation, integration, and testing of batteries and hybrid PV–battery solutions, will be positively valued. /lili Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, analyzing conversion topologies, operating modes, and system protection. /lili Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines. /lili A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies. /lili A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. /lili Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. /lili As you will be part of a general business, fluency in written and spoken English is required /lilib Desirable requirements /b : at least 5 years or more of relevant experience in the requested requirements.The profile will be assessed according to the experience presented. /li /ul pb More About Us /b /p p You will join a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
