Context
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of IT Infrastructure Manager. This key role is responsible for defining the strategy, maintenance, and evolution of the company's entire global IT infrastructure. The manager will oversee the infrastructure architecture and support the team to ensure autonomous management of operations.
This role will serve as the deputy and substitute for the Director of Digital Operations (IT/IS). You will act as a mentor to the team to foster their professional growth, while ensuring the continuity, security, and efficiency of our digital environment.
Job Responsibilities and Objectives
A. Management of global infrastructure and IT assets
Responsible for the full lifecycle and operational availability of all physical and virtual IT assets:
Establish the strategy, design the architecture, and define IT specifications to ensure the support and robustness of the infrastructure, while managing relationships with key external vendors.
Equipment Lifecycle: Manage the full lifecycle (from definition to decommissioning) of computers, phones, printers, and industrial devices. Ensure PC imaging/reimaging, driver management, and OS updates (e.g., WSUS).
Network architecture and operations: Design and configure the entire network topology. Manage ISP contracts, VPNs, NAC, and firewall configurations. Monitor network performance and organize maintenance operations.
Server and Storage Management: Oversee server hosting, hardware management, OS updates, and network storage solutions. Ensure the implementation and testing of robust backup and restore procedures.
Manage the provisioning and maintenance of virtual desktops and VDI environments.
B. Deputy Director of Digital Operations - IT/IS
Serve as the strategic backup for the Director of Digital Operations, ensuring continuity in governance and operations:
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the IT/IS roadmap through benchmarking and technology monitoring.
Operational Governance: Oversee daily operations and team leadership, including budget planning, financial management, and resource allocation.
Risk and Contract Management: Conduct risk analyses and manage contracts/vendors.
Service Management: Oversee the Helpdesk structure and incident management. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
Systems, Applications, and Data: Coordinate the maintenance and optimization of applications, the ERP system, and software licenses.
Business Continuity: Ensure the operational readiness of business continuity plans (BCPs) and disaster recovery plans (DRPs).
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science.
More than 5 years of experience in infrastructure management and in a senior leadership role.
Solid knowledge of network topology, server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization, databases, scripting, cybersecurity standards, and hardware lifecycle management.
Proven ability to manage budgets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic roadmaps. (Experience with ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks is a plus.)
Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. (Proficiency in French, or German is a plus.)
IT Skills: SQL, Crystal Reports, Web Services, Linux, and Windows.
Basic knowledge of databases and database administration.
Basic knowledge of web languages (e.g., PHP, Python) and scripting.
Deployment of applications on virtualized and cloud infrastructures (VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of the ISO 27001 standard is a plus.
