Remote (Europe) with regular travel to suppliers
Are you ready to lead quality efforts in one of the most dynamic industries in Europe?
We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our international team supporting supplier quality activities for a major German automotive OEM. This role is hands-on, proactive, and impactful — from on-site supplier visits to audit support and escalation moderation.
After our 4–6-week onboarding program, you will integrate into a continuously growing team of Supplier Quality responsibles with continuous contact to the suppliers and the customer.
Your Responsibilities
Manage quality issues at supplier sites through structured root cause analysis
Lead on-site visits, audits, and Rapid Plant Assessments (RPA)
Oversee process releases and production approvals (PPF, requalification)
Moderate quality dialogues and escalation meetings between OEM and suppliers
Track KPIs and document results in customer portals (e.G. QMT)
Your Profile
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
3+ years of experience in automotive quality or supplier management
Required Skills
Skilled in 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, PPF, Control Plan
Fluent in English & German
Excellent communication and assertiveness in cross-functional settings
Willingness to travel across Europe (30–50 %)
Legal authorization to work in the EU. Tax residency in Spain.
