About the Role
We’re looking for a Finance Consultant to join our growing consulting team at Factorial. You’ll work alongside 15+ consultants across Finance, Payroll, and Talent—helping build and scale our finance services offering. Finance Management is a key domain that includes expenses management, accounts payable / procurement, project management, and financial workspace. One of your greatest challenges will be to ensure our product can be fully adapted to the client's needs. This requires you to understand their processes and problems thoroughly and identify potential improvements and opportunities in the product. In this role, you’ll leverage your financial expertise and tech know-how to support clients in optimizing their finance processes with Factorial’s tools, deliver high-impact insights, and shape scalable service packages to drive long-term value and growth.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead Finance Enablement: Help clients implement and optimize their finance operations using Factorial’s Finance Management Solutions. Train finance teams, share best practices, and support process integration and automation.
2. Design Scalable Services: Create repeatable service packages—from discovery and training to strategic advisory.
3. Act as a Trusted Advisor: Understand client needs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements. Support compliance with financial policies, audit readiness, and use analytics to drive cost-saving strategies.
4. Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent and aligned delivery.
5. Bridge Product and Market: Provide feedback to the Product team, support testing, and validate features to ensure they meet client needs.
6. Support Marketing: Contribute expertise to promote our finance solutions through campaigns and educational content.
What You Bring
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
* Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in finance consulting, financial operations, or implementing ERP / SaaS solutions.
* Languages: Fluency in English and native German (Spanish or French a plus).
* Strong understanding of finance processes: approvals, expenses, budgeting, reporting.
* Experience with software integrations and tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Sage, SAP, or Power BI is a strong plus.
* Experience in building or delivering structured services at scale.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on mindset with a passion for building from the ground up.
