About the Role
As part of our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our teams in Spain by hiring an Electrical Lead to support the delivery of Data Centre and mission critical projects in Madrid.
The role will play a key part in the execution and coordination of electrical works onsite, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery across fast-paced and technically demanding environments.
We are looking for a hands-on profile with strong site presence, subcontractor management capability and experience coordinating electrical packages within mission critical environments.
The position is heavily focused on:
- Low Voltage electrical installations;
- onsite execution and coordination;
- subcontractor management;
- client coordination and reporting;
- and support during commissioning of redundant electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Coordination
- Coordinate and supervise Low Voltage electrical installations on Data Centre projects
- Manage subcontractors and daily site activities
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements
- Maintain strong onsite operational oversight throughout project delivery
- Coordinate with client teams, consultants and internal stakeholders
Technical & Operational Management
- Monitor progress, quality and compliance across electrical packages
- Support planning, sequencing and execution activities
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues onsite
- Coordinate electrical works within critical and redundant environments without loss of service
- Ensure alignment between onsite execution, technical documentation and client requirements
Commissioning & Critical Systems
- Support commissioning activities, energisation and functional testing
- Assist during commissioning phases (L2-L5 experience desirable)
- Support tie-ins and critical project sequences
- Coordinate activities associated with:
- LV installations
- HV systems
- BMS & Controls
- Fire Detection Systems
- Auxiliary systems
Reporting & Project Coordination
- Participate in technical and coordination meetings
- Support technical reporting and documentation management
- Track punch lists, snags and close-out activities
- Coordinate multiple subcontractors and MEP disciplines within fast-track environments
Requirements:
- Previous experience within Data Centre, mission critical or large-scale industrial projects
- Strong background in electrical site execution, Low Voltage installations, subcontractor coordination and commissioning support
- Experience working with redundant electrical systems within critical environments
- Strong understanding of site operations and fast-paced construction delivery
- Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills
- Client-facing experience
- Fluent Spanish and English suitable for an international environment
