The Position
Join Roche Diagnostics as the Market Access and Medical Affairs Team Lead! Lead a high-performing team to ensure our innovative solutions and proposals have the necessary evidence and funding to become integral parts of routine medical care and practice. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting their medical adoption.
Your Key Responsibilities
Inspire and guide a team of highly qualified professionals, leveraging a systemic vision of the company and a 360o market view. As a VACC leader (Visionary, Architect, Coach, Catalyst) in a VUCA environment, you will maximize your team's potential
Translate regional and global strategies for medical affairs and market access, adapting them to the local environment and incorporating them into comprehensive business plans
Collaborate with key stakeholders to advocate for the integration of cutting-edge in vitro diagnostic technologies in Spain
Pioneer new approaches in budget allocation and acquisition schemes by presenting innovative models and evidence
Coordinate and meticulously document medical studies and collaborations to ensure precision and effectiveness
Stay ahead of market access trends, healthcare and economic-financial factors, political landscapes, and competitive environments to generate and disseminate critical knowledge within the organization
Oversee functions related to OneRoche representation in Roche Diagnostics Spain, positioning the company strategically with influential actors for the inclusion of new technologies
Engage actively in regional and general forums, representing the voice of the Spanish affiliate on medical-scientific affairs and market access
Show the ability to synthesize, self-manage, and adopt a flexible yet efficient approach to prioritizing your work
Mobilize, collaborate, and unify people to achieve shared goals with effective communication tailored to various stakeholders' interests
Exhibit a people-driven attitude, coaching and energizing your team to reach their full potential
Who You Are
You boast a minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector, with preference for in vitro diagnostics experience
You bring experience in similar roles or public policy and institutional relations within the healthcare industry
You possess a University Degree in science, complemented by an MBA or postgraduate degree in health economics, public administration, or institutional relations
You are proficient in both English and Spanish, enabling effective communication across diverse settings
You have a successful track record of leading and motivating teams
You prefer to be based in Sant Cugat (also Madrid location would be an option) and are open to traveling around 50% of the time
