Leads, creates and implements the procurement strategy for regionalized Logistics & Warehousing sub-categories (road freight, packaging, and warehousing) in the WEMEA Region.Supports regional implementation of the procurement strategy for global Logistics & Warehousing sub-categories (airfreight, sea freight, and courier) in the WEMEA Region.Identify and realize cost saving potential, set and control saving targets for the relevant categories.Leads negotiations, ensure contract management, drive procurement activities as regional category manager.Continuously optimize procurement processes and related key figures.Ability to manage & support process changes which bring financial and operational impacts to GEA.Understanding of tendering processes and negotiations with transportation and warehousing providers.Understanding of logistics rate card structures and cost components.Able to identify savings opportunities during operational day-to-day activities.Minimum Qualifications :
Master or Bachelor Degree – Business related field.At least 5 years of strategic procurement experience required.Negotiation experience required.Experience in working with cross-functional and international teams required.Very good analytical (data) capabilities, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.Takes ownership of the work, successes and mistakes.Very good communication skills.We offer :
