We are supporting a major international energy and industrial group with the appointment of a Director of Government Affairs & Communications to support its European activities.
This is a senior public affairs and government relations role, focused on engagement at EU and national level, rather than a marketing or brand communications position.
The role will support the company’s European strategy through:
* Monitoring and anticipating policy and regulatory developments affecting energy and industrial sectors
* Stakeholder management with public authorities, industry bodies, and partners
* Supporting market entry, manufacturing, infrastructure, and supply chain initiatives in Europe
* Contributing to external positioning and communications on key policy topics
The position will work closely with senior leadership to help shape advocacy priorities and ensure effective engagement with policymakers and stakeholders.
The role is open to candidates based in Europe.
Relevant experience in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is essential, as is hands-on experience in government affairs, public policy, or regulatory engagement within Europe.
This role would suit someone operating at senior manager / director level, looking to take on a broad European remit with strong strategic and executional exposure.
