We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our growing international team.
As our Global Account Manager, Hospitality, your goal is to develop and execute strategic account plans to grow our business within assigned accounts in the Hotels sector and increase our share of wallet in major hotel projects in Spain and the EMEA region.
Using proven selling strategies, our brands, product portfolio, your local and international network in the Hotels sector, and your market insights, you will create opportunities within your assigned accounts. While developing long-term relationships with international hotel chains in Spain and EMEA, you will drive sales at each account to meet individual targets and focus on cross-selling.
Main Responsibilities
1. Focus on assigned accounts in the Hotels sector, building connections with key stakeholders such as investors, franchisees, and project management teams across Spain and EMEA.
2. Lead and own the planning and execution of strategies in collaboration with other company resources.
3. Be accountable for sales targets and results across the EMEA strategy.
4. Utilize product knowledge and market insights to differentiate the company and create opportunities within accounts.
5. Leverage CRM tools to manage performance and communicate effectively with the team.
6. Develop and nurture strong customer relationships at all levels of the client organization and with relevant stakeholders involved in hotel projects.
7. Manage and guide account team members on activities and client engagements, collaborating across regions and teams responsible for hospitality.
8. Develop account and opportunity strategies, including setting sales targets, aspirations, and activities to grow the company's share of wallet.
The role is based in Madrid and offered on a full-time basis.
Is this you?
1. Proven track record of delivering growth and driving business opportunities in a B2B environment relevant to the Hotels sector.
2. At least 5 years of experience in roles such as Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or Account Manager, targeting the Hotels sector and working with key influencers in Spain and EMEA.
3. Good knowledge of the Hotels sector in Spain and internationally, including major players and decision-making processes.
4. Excellent communication skills with strong relationship-building abilities.
5. A passionate networker who can connect with design, procurement teams, investors, and operators, positioning Ideal Standard as a partner of choice on large hotel projects.
6. A dynamic self-starter with a winning attitude.
7. Customer-oriented mindset.
8. Native Spanish speaker with fluent English skills; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
9. Proficiency in SAP/CRM and Microsoft Office.
10. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
