Icebreaker is looking for an exceptional Key Account Manager – Iberia to join our office-based team in Barcelona, Spain (Regular position). This Key Account Manager will be responsible for the business of Icebreaker and Smartwool brands in wholesale (brick & mortar & digital), focusing on driving revenue within the countries by following and co-building the defined strategy.Responsibilities include managing seasonal sell-in campaigns, in-season management (shipping-credit-account connection), and sell-thru targets to drive growth within the Icebreaker & Smartwool framework and strategies.Primary Accountabilities
Strategy:
Co-prepare and own the strategic plan for the country to make the brand a dominant player according to the selected distribution.Be the point of reference for the country to drive the brand across the commercial department.Distribution and Sales:
Take overall responsibility and provide strategic focus & leadership for regional sales with autonomy.Develop detailed sales plans to drive results and achieve business targets.Ensure implementation of sales and marketing tactics, including seasonal sales strategies and GTM approach for all categories.Establish and maintain close contact with existing key accounts/partners and prospect new accounts to expand brand presence.Maintain relationships with the customer base through regional travel.Actively train and visit key doors to boost sell-thru.Collaborate with marketing to develop brand awareness.Prepare, agree, and submit seasonal product forecasts for all accounts.Build strong partnerships with key accounts, sales associates, and buyers.Maintain close communication with internal departments (head office, marketing, retail, finance, operations).Skills for Success
Postgraduate/MBA or equivalent in Business.Strong knowledge and experience in wholesale and retail sales in outdoor, lifestyle, or apparel business in Spain, with valuable digital account management experience.Leadership qualities with a drive to achieve objectives.Fluent in Spanish and English.Proficiency in Excel and analytical skills.Autonomy is key, as management is not based in Spain.VF is a global apparel company committed to powering movements of sustainable and active lifestyles for the betterment of people and the planet.
