Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and client‑centric Key Account Manager with proven experience in strategic media planning, strong analytical capabilities, and deep expertise in Biddable Channels (Search, Social Media, and Programmatic). This pivotal role involves owning the media strategy and performance narrative for a global client, with a primary focus on leading and coordinating the execution across English‑speaking markets. The ideal candidate will translate client business goals into actionable, data‑driven media strategies and manage senior relationships both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
1. Develop & Own Strategic Media Plans (Biddable Focus)
o Strategic Biddable Planning: Lead the development, presentation, and ownership of comprehensive media strategies, with a specialist focus on biddable channels (Programmatic, Social Media, and Search), ensuring plans align with the client’s core business objectives and growth ambitions.
o Budget Management and Forecasting: Oversee overall media investment allocation, managing large‑scale budgets across markets and ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking of expenditure to maximize return on investment (ROI).
o English‑Speaking Market Leadership: Establish and enforce a clear governance model to ensure consistency and coherence of the global media strategy across key English‑speaking market activations, balancing global efficiencies with local relevance.
2. Active Activation & Delivery Coordination
o Delivery Oversight & Quality Assurance: Play a highly active role in coordinating with Activation teams to ensure all campaign deliveries (including setup, trafficking, and launch) are executed with the required quality and on schedule (Time‑to‑Market).
o Planning & Reporting Guidance: Provide clear direction on planning requirements, standardized templates, and reporting needs, ensuring that all data inputs and outputs align with the integral measurement framework and client expectations.
o Operational Efficiency Champion: Serve as the link between strategy and execution, proactively identifying and removing roadblocks for activation teams to ensure seamless and efficient media deployment.
3. Conduct Performance Analysis & Optimization
o Data‑Driven Performance Oversight: Conduct high‑level performance analysis, synthesizing complex data from various biddable platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DSPs) into clear, executive‑level insights and recommendations.
o Driving Optimization & Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities for media optimization, particularly within the biddable ecosystem, to continually improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive measurable media efficiencies.
o Reporting Narrative Ownership: Own the narrative of all performance reporting, clearly articulating campaign success, challenges, and actionable next steps to senior client leadership.
4. Lead Client & Internal Stakeholder Management
o Senior Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary strategic contact for senior clients, building deep trust and fostering a partnership approach by anticipating needs and providing proactive, high‑value consultancy.
o Internal Stakeholder Leadership: Effectively lead and coordinate cross‑functional internal teams (Activation, Planning, Data/Analytics, Creative) to ensure seamless execution and delivery of the media strategy on time and within budget.
o Issue Resolution & Risk Mitigation: Act as the escalation point for major campaign issues, promptly resolving conflicts and mitigating risks to campaign performance and client satisfaction.
o Cross‑Market Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate regular knowledge sharing sessions across the client’s different markets to scale best practices and accelerate innovation globally.
Qualifications
* Desirable Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, or related fields, coupled with 5+ years of experience in planning, managing, and optimizing multi‑market digital media accounts (agency experience strongly preferred).
* Demonstrated deep expertise in Biddable Channels: Strong working knowledge of Search, Social Media, and Programmatic media buying and strategy.
* Proven experience using advanced campaign management tools, analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI).
* Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and financial metrics to formulate strategic business recommendations.
* Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing senior‑level clients and stakeholders.
