If so, then you want to join us, and we want you!The overall task and responsibility of the role is to oversee business development through API for new customers in new markets for Sembo / Stena Line Travel Group. This includes ensuring commercial and technical optimization, maintenance, and revenue growth of new partnerships, as well as establishing new integrations and with distribution partners through API connections. Maximize sales & connectivity performance to ensure targets are achieved and to build and maintain key relationships internally and externally. We can offer you a workplace where you can be based anywhere in the World, but preferably this role is based in Palma/Mallorca.**Your responsibilities will include**:- To achieve and over perform the annual revenue targets for the market and contribute to the achievement of the Integral Sales Budget.- Monetize the audience of our customers by optimizing all revenue possible through API.- Understand our clients KPIs and ensure delivery of these expectations.- Design and plan destination marketing campaigns based on the identified needs of potential customers.- Look after the results of the campaign and the performance of the clients based on the identified needs to be monitored. Sales performance optimization focused on ROI orientation.- Maintain and grow its own client portfolio establishing long term relations which can increase customers' investment in Stena Line Travel Group’s brands.- Establish and maintain contact with any of the intermediaries in this sector- advertising agencies and media centers- among others while attending the meetings scheduled by her/his team that must be considered key.- Create customized presentations adapted to the different profiles and needs of customers and post-campaigns reports clearly showing the value of the partnership- Be a proactive member to bring added value, contributing to tactical and strategic initiatives, new products, concepts and to optimizing the trading performance of the Market and the Group overall.- Attend the most relevant travel & digital marketing events in tourism.- Achieve all sales performance metrics in order to build and convert a strong sales pipeline.- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the B2B distribution space preferably from the wholesale side.- Strong knowledge of the B2B distribution landscape- Ability to analyze and draw meaningful and actionable insights from data to optimize integrations.- It is highly advantageous to have a portfolio of clients and distribution contacts.- As an individual you must be proactive, results driven and with a high level of client relationship management.- Must have a positive, can do attitude. Strong negotiation skills.- A self starter who takes plenty of initiative.- Proficient in Spanish and English.- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.**Preferred skills**:- Experience with wholesale distribution.- Experience in the online travel industry.**Your background**:- Commercial awareness in the travel industry- Demonstrated success in delivering sales to grow new distribution/business- Technical understanding of API principles and connectivity- Excellent problem solving, relationship building skills and interpersonal communication-skills.- Highly detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic and complex environment.- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor your message to your audience.We offer an exciting and varied job with good professional development and development opportunities.
