Growth Marketing Associate (Web3 / DeFi Infrastructure)
We’re hiring a Growth Marketing Associate for one of our clients in the Web3 infrastructure space. They build mission-critical data infrastructure used by decentralized finance (DeFi) applications—think the systems that help protocols operate reliably by providing accurate, real-time market data.
Our client is entering a new growth phase focused on deeper adoption with large, high-usage DeFi protocols. We’re looking for someone who can amplify that story, grow awareness, and help the brand show up consistently and credibly across the ecosystem.
Role snapshot
* Location: Remote (global); a CET/CEST-friendly timezone is preferred for team overlap
* Experience: 2–5 years in growth marketing, social, or content (Web3 experience strongly preferred)
* Team: Small, hands-on marketing function with high ownership
* Focus: Social-first distribution, relationship building, and content that drives engagement
What you’ll do
* Own day-to-day social execution across X (Twitter), Telegram, and LinkedIn (planning, posting, replies, community engagement, and brand presence)
* Turn raw inputs (product updates, partnerships, launches, research, founder perspectives) into high-performing content (threads, short posts, narratives, hooks, lightweight campaign concepts)
* Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem accounts, partners, creators/KOLs, and community members (including proactive outreach and DMs where appropriate)
* Track the conversation and act quickly on timely moments (trend-spotting, reactive content, contextual posting)
* Run experiments and iterate (new formats, posting cadences, messaging angles); measure performance and double down on what works
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (product/BD/founders) to translate technical updates into clear, compelling messaging for a DeFi-native audience
* Spend a lot of time in Web3 spaces and genuinely enjoy participating (X, Telegram, Discord, etc.)
* Have strong content instincts and can predict what will resonate with a crypto-native audience
* Understand DeFi at a practical level (you’ve used products and you’re comfortable with core concepts like oracles, liquidity, perps, lending, and stablecoins)
* Can work with technical, builder-first products (you don’t need to code, but you can communicate technical value accurately)
* Write clearly and can adapt tone to match different voices (brand voice, team voice, founder voice)
* Work autonomously, spot gaps, and move without needing heavy direction
* Like trying new workflows and tools (including AI) to increase output and speed
Nice to have
* You’ve grown an account or community before (any platform; any size)
* Your personal X account shows consistent engagement or thoughtful participation in the ecosystem
* Basic visual skills (Figma, Canva, templates) and/or simple video editing (CapCut, VEED, Final Cut, After Effects)
* SEO fundamentals and comfort with CMS tools (WordPress, Webflow, Framer or similar)
* Familiarity with project management tools (Notion, Asana, Linear or similar)
