As EHS Officer, you will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility while ensuring regulatory compliance. Reporting to the EHS Leader, you will develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies that protect our workforce and environment.Core Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of EHS policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvement of safety programs and environmental initiatives
• Manage relationships with external prevention services and key stakeholders
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and risk assessments
• Oversee contractor safety management and coordination
• Design and deliver impactful EHS training programs
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures
• Maintain ISO 14001 certification and ensure environmental compliance
• Champion our Life-Saving Rules programRequirements
• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant qualification
• Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (all three specialties)
• Demonstrated knowledge of water treatment systems and processes
• Strong English language skills (minimum B2 level)
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle required
• Flexibility to travel as needed
