Role details:
- Title / Designation: Sales Development Representative
- Location: Chennai, India.
- Work Mode: 5 days WFO
- Shift Timing: 4.30PM - 2.30 PM
- Reporting Manager: Vice President
Role & responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by qualifying leads from self-research, marketing campaigns, and events.
- Engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, and presentations introducing the company and its services.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings or calls with prospective clients.
- Stay updated on the company’s technology service offerings.
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity metrics.
- Demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills, a startup mindset, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a global, diversity-focused mindset.
Candidate requirements:
- Senior-level professional with 8-12 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, lead generation, and business development for the US market.
- Strong background in the IT consulting and services industry, with hands-on experience using various sales techniques, including cold calling.
- Proven track record of meeting sales activity targets and revenue goals.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales execution platforms.
- Understanding of key sales performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
