Junior IT Auditor
The opportunity
Our Business Consulting - Technology Risk team supports Financial Audit in account analysis of applications, systems and IT solutions, to evaluate and recommend improvements in the IT ecosystem to cover risks associated with the IT environment. As a member of our EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you will extend your knowledge and experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You will support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.
Responsibilities
As an IT Auditor you will contribute technically to Risk Assurance client projects and internal projects.
Actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
Identify potential business opportunities and risks within projects and share issues with senior team members.
Perform high quality work in line with EY GDS commitment to quality.
Assist in IT application security assessments (IT Application Controls, IT General Controls, Segregation of duties analysis).
Assist in performing IT Audit procedures to assess the operative level of the controls environment.
Perform IT testing for technologies and areas such as ERP SAP, Oracle or MS-Dynamics, Cloud Security, Database Security Audits, SOx audits, Process Automation, IT Asset Management, Software License Reviews, GDPR, ISAE3402, ISO27001 and others.
Qualifications and Skills
1-2 years of experience in IT, technology, or engineering environments.
Competency in IT Audit, control and/or Software Quality Assurance.
High standard of integrity and confidentiality.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in Spanish.
To qualify for the role
Bachelors degree in Finance/Computer Science or similar major.
Good organizational and analytical skills.
Good command of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Fluent in Spanish.
Ideally, you'll also have
English or other European language is a plus (German, Dutch, French, Italian, Portuguese).
Experience in international environments.
ITIL or SQA or IT audit certifications.
Data oriented and data analytics knowledge.
