Technical Project Designer
We are seeking a Technical Project Designer to join our Iberia Technical Team of Execution in the iHUB department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical operational activities, including design of layout or schematics, software coding, testing and commissioning, related to customer projects based on pre-defined technical specifications.
The Technical Project Designer will identify risks and interfaces, and provide necessary reporting to project technical stakeholders in Digital Energy, Automation and Control Areas.
Main Responsibilities:
* Specify technical solutions according to customer requirements
* Validate technical choices and solutions during quoting phase and project compliance
* Review technical documentation to optimize solutions and ensure customer requirement compliance
* Provide necessary reporting to Project Manager (PM) and/or project instances
* Drive stakeholders' technical relationship and proactively communicate
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Digital Energy, Automation and Control Areas
* Knowledge and experience with equipment's of Automation and Control Areas (PLCs, HMIs, computers, relays, etc.)
* Knowledge and experience in software of Automation and Control Areas (PLCs programming, HMI/SCADAs, SQL, VBA, etc.)
* Some knowledge in Schneider PLCs and programming languages is a plus advantage
* Some knowledge in Schneider Electric and Aveva software's and programming languages is a plus advantage
* Some Knowledge and experience in industrial equipment's for communications is a plus advantage
* Some Knowledge and experience in industrial protocol communications is a plus advantage
* Experience in: Knowledge Mgt & Collaboration, Communicate Effectively, Multi Technological Optimization, Influence & Convince, Focus on Customer
* Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Speak both languages are a plus advantage
* Ability to speak and write English with colleagues and customers
* Availability to travel and work on Iberia area between 30% to 40% of time
