We are looking for a highly experienced Industrial Automation Architect to drive the full lifecycle of an Octoplant (AUVESY‑MDT) implementation across complex industrial environments.
This position requires deep OT expertise, hands‑on experience with Octoplant, and the ability to architect, guide, and execute large‑scale deployments within manufacturing or process‑driven operations.

You will be responsible for:
* Defining Octoplant architecture and ensuring alignment with OT/automation systems.
* Leading integration with PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS, and robotics.
* Designing secure OT network topologies (ISA/IEC 62443).
* Driving all implementation phases from discovery to go‑live.
* Configuring agents, connectors, and automated backup routines.
* Developing integrations using key industrial protocols.
* Creating change‑detection workflows and DR procedures.
* Acting as a key technical reference for stakeholders.
* Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
* Mentoring engineers and delivering knowledge transfer.
* Ensuring quality of deliverables and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in OT/industrial automation, including 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture.
* Proven hands‑on expertise implementing AUVESY Octoplant or versiondog in manufacturing or industrial environments.
* Strong experience with PLC programming tools (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider Unity Pro, etc.).
* Proficiency in HMI/SCADA platforms such as WinCC, FactoryTalk, or Ignition.
* Solid understanding of OT industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
* Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 frameworks and OT network segmentation.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
* Constant drive to learn and ability to learn quickly.
* Strong team player mindset.
* Fluent in english (experience working across multicultural or international engineering contexts is a must).
Very nice to have:
* Experience in automotive or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of MES/MOM platforms and integrations within OT ecosystems.
* Experience implementing cloud or hybrid Octoplant architectures.
* Relevant certifications (AUVESY, ISA/IEC cybersecurity, Siemens, Rockwell).
