2K's newest AAA development studio, 31st Union, is excited to expand into the Spanish market
Position: Senior UI Artist
As a Senior UI Artist at 31st Union, you will play a key role in shaping the visual art to support game design and user experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, art, and engineering to craft an immersive interactive experience that balances gameplay and art direction. We believe that well-designed UI/UX enhances the overall game experience.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and support UI and UX designs aligned with the project's artistic vision and game design principles.
2. Create UX wireframes and collaborate with design and art teams to visually represent game design concepts.
3. Work with game and UX designers to conceptualize, iterate, and produce assets from pre-visualization to final implementation.
4. Maintain a cohesive UI style guide in collaboration with leads and stakeholders.
5. Plan and organize UI asset creation, coordinating with development partners to realize the creative vision and ensure high-quality visuals.
6. Identify and implement best practices, workflows, and pipelines to improve team effectiveness and professional growth.
7. Research and learn new tools and processes to enhance UI quality and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
1. Strong UI skills demonstrating understanding of UI needs in interactive games.
2. Excellent organizational skills.
3. Effective communication and writing skills.
4. Experience with prototyping tools (XD, Balsamiq, Axure, etc.).
5. Experience with game engines (Unreal, Unity, or others), design tools, and production pipelines is highly desirable.
6. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent software; motion graphics and animation skills are a plus.
7. Knowledge of 3D is beneficial but not required.
8. Ability to work and communicate in English.
9. Must be an EU citizen.
