This role is critical in supporting our commitment to regulatory adherence and the development of robust compliance frameworks. What You Will Do
Wealth experience in both traditional compliance and the unique challenges of blockchain and cryptocurrency complianceDevelop and implement comprehensive end-to-end internal policiesReview and draft contracts and terms and conditions, ensuring Nebeus adherence to the actual legal environment and requirementsOffer your legal advice when required by other team membersEvaluate the company's compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively along with Compliance teamAssist Compliance team with Mi CA license and other legal and regulatory requirementsEstablish targeted training frameworks for employees to enhance their understanding of compliance regulations and legal requirementsStay updated with changes in regulations and industry best practices to ensure the company's compliance policies are current and effectiveCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance requirements into the company's products and services effectivelyData protection knowledge is a plus Who You AreYou hold a Law degree (LLB or equivalent) and have solid experience working as a Legal Counsel or in a similar legal roleYou have strong experience in compliance and regulatory environments, ideally within fintech, crypto, or financial servicesYou are familiar with blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations, and understand their unique legal challengesYou have a good understanding of European regulatory frameworks, particularly Mi CAYou are experienced in drafting and reviewing contracts, policies, and legal documentationYou have the ability to identify and assess legal, compliance, and reputational risks, and propose practical solutionsYou are comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and providing clear legal guidance to non-legal stakeholdersYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detailYou are proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environmentYou have excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)Knowledge of data protection regulations is a plus What We OfferA full-time permanent contract25 days' holidayA shorter work day on FridaysA brand new Mac BookMedical InsuranceBased in Barcelona (key location – onsite/hybrid role)
