Temporary Production Manager, Concert Series
About the Role
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Concert Services, the Concert Services Production Manager supports all production aspects and maintenance for Concert Services facilities at the Conservatory, including sound equipment, electrical, and lighting systems.
The role involves technical production support for concerts, clinics, recitals, and other events both on and off campus. The manager collaborates with relevant departments on setup and facility use for college and external rental events, meetings, and functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and train work-study stage crew employees.
* Provide technical and lighting support for events at Conservatory venues and off-campus.
* Ensure proper front-of-house and back-of-house procedures by student workers, and ensure events run smoothly, on time, and within occupancy limits.
* Coordinate equipment and instrument transportation between venues.
* Review technical and production needs, equipment requirements, and repairs with the Associate Director.
* Maintain and distribute event, production, and maintenance records.
* Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
