Sales Manager
to join the team.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a sales role, ideally within the
food & beverage
sector or for
marketing agencies .Knowledge of the
specialty coffee industry
and key players is a significant bonus. PDG Media is a specialist GTM & marketing agency operating in the F&B sector, focusing on
specialty coffee .We are part of the wider PDG Global media group, which includes trade publications
Perfect Daily Grind
&
Coffee Intelligence, as well as the
Producer & Roaster Forum .In 2025, we will launch a new initiative called the
Global Coffee Awards. We are offering two
full-time, permanent
roles to candidates based in
Spain or elsewhere in Europe .The role will be mostly remote, with occasional in-person meet-ups.The successful candidate will enjoy engaging with clients daily, identifying key business opportunities, and strategizing to close deals. You will manage the pipeline for our
strategic project sales .This involves identifying target customers, establishing and nurturing opportunities, and converting leads at the right time. Our current and past agency clients include brands like
MTPak Coffee ,
Hardtank
(RTD and equipment),
Flo-Smart, and organizations such as
Guatemalan Coffees ,
UKAid, and
Adam Smith International .You will collaborate closely with the COO, aligning with the sales strategy to foster new business growth and achieve revenue targets.You should be comfortable communicating at all levels, identifying client needs, and sharing insights with the team. As part of a leading coffee publishing company, your responsibilities include:
Working independently to meet revenue targets based on an existing sales strategy.Identifying and pursuing new sponsorship and partnership opportunities.Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and sponsors.Reassessing and defining the ideal customer profile.Negotiating renewals.Coordinating with the digital projects team for launches.Upselling across our publications.Collaborating with the publishing team on deliverables.Participating in regular sales meetings and providing updates to leadership.Essential qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in client-facing sales or account management within the food & beverage sector or a marketing agency.A proven track record of delivering high-value, long-term sales.Experience with CRM management.Proficiency with email outreach tools (e.G., Apollo, Gong, Instantly).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience developing and executing sales strategies.Desirable qualifications:
Bilingual in English & Spanish.Experience with HubSpot, specialty coffee, lead generation tools (e.G., Clay, Snov.Io, Zoominfo), G Suite, and international teams.If interested, please email your CV, including your notice period and salary expectations.Seniority level:
