Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.

We are looking for a Solution Architect (digital solutions) to lead the design, development, and operational strategy for Vodafone's cutting-edge commercial technologies and platforms, including OneNumber, CCAP, and SIM. In this role, you will define and govern the architecture roadmap, creating innovative solutions that meet both market demands and global business requirements, while ensuring alignment with Vodafone's Global Architecture standards. You'll collaborate with other architects and agile teams, acting as a lead technical representative on multiple projects, continuously improving platform performance and enhancing its capabilities.
This role requires strong analytical, functional, technical, and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams across multiple global locations. If you’re passionate about building scalable, reusable solutions aligned with the latest architecture strategies and thrive in an agile, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
The responsibilities include:
* Interpret business challenges and technical issues and effectively communicate how a solution will align to their needs and requirements.
* Work closely with Technical and Commercial Product Owners, Architects within the team, and Vodafone Enablers; leading the Technology strategy, High-Level Design, and contributing to shared propositions.
* Delivery of products and services—lead the design and delivery of respective portfolio as aligned with Group Commercial, local markets, and partners.
* Technical expert contribution to the technology selection process and make or buy decisions in synchronization with Technology standards.
What you bring:
* Deep knowledge of web-based and service-based architectures (REST/SOAP).
* Knowledge of cross-platform architecture, technology, and platforms (e.g., Web / Android / iOS).
* Experience in designing and developing highly scalable, robust, distributed systems.
* Experience deploying services in public Clouds e.g., AWS.
