In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L. markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group: chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As Technical Marketing Manager, you will have general responsibilities and provide technical support to the sales and marketing functions on BASF's Rodenticides line with the mission to increase sales, reduce risk, reinforce correct product positioning in the field and promote best product stewardship practices.
You will work closely and collaborate with:
- Global and regional marketing teams to uncover customer needs, provide inputs to the strategic direction of the portfolio, marketing campaigns and product positioning.
- Global development manager, supporting product development activities and projects.
- Sales teams, including distributors, helping them with local field trials and technical evidence that support our Rodenticides value propositions.
- Technical Service teams supporting to answer to customer requests.
- Regulatory colleagues in order to support with technical expertise when needed.
- Be an active member of the Global technical service community.
- Global and regional stewardship.
- Key industry influencers.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Educated to degree level in Biology or a related discipline
- Experience in technical marketing and supporting sales & marketing teams
- Profound knowledge of the rodent control market and wider industry issues in at least one key target geography (UK, Spain or France)
- Strong presentation skills, to effectively convey complex ideas and information to diverse audiences
- Previous experience in training and coaching roles would be highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language are essential for this role
