Responsible for building short and long-term Contract Manufacturing category strategy to ensure operational excellence and efficiencies are met.
Establishes a cross-functional network and fosters collaboration with suppliers, wider supply chain organization, engineering, quality, and product management.
Owns the vendor performance data and reports metrics to leadership.
Leverages understanding of similar industry, sourcing concepts, and Lean tools to ensure parts delivered on time at best cost and quality.
Manages external relationships with suppliers and assumes responsibility for all internal activities and decisions associated with Contract Manufacturing category and suppliers, including contract negotiations, new products development, approved vendor list, RFX, re-sourcing, dual qualification, pricing changes, quality, and capacity.
Collaborates within the Global Strategic Sourcing team and across Product Management and Engineering to align on long-term strategy, technology roadmap, and risk mitigation.
Develops and maintains expert knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations.
Builds and develops a team of Contract Manufacturing experts to drive global performance.
10+ years experience in sourcing environment and familiarity with industrial operations required.
3+ years experience in senior commodity management roles required.
Experience in Contract Manufacturing required.
Digital dexterity and ability to leverage data.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, or business.
MBA or professional certifications (CPM, CPSM, CIRM, CPIM).
Strong business acumen and experience collaborating across various levels within a diverse, global organization.
