We are looking for an experienced Area Manager in Spain, to join our international B2B brand RateHawk, develop our business and make the travel world better together!
This is a remote position for candidates located in Bilbao and Galicia.
Job Responsibilities:
* Actively promote our international project;
* Expand and consolidate presence in the assigned territory;
* Lead the team to achieve the division's planned revenue results;
* Monitor and analyze the team's KPI results;
* Organize the search and recruitment of new business partners, as well as strengthen the relationship with current partners and conduct negotiations with them;
* Support the team in managing key accounts;
* Develop people, from hiring to training, to help the team get to the next level;
* Participate in the development and implementation of the division's marketing plan;
* Market research, reporting, analysis and forecasting.
Requirements
o Relevant experience. 3+ years of leadership experience (Sales/Account Managers), in-depth knowledge of the region's travel market, successful sales background, and business development expertise with networking in the B2B travel industry i.e. travel agencies, tour operators, OTA’s, host agencies.
o Market knowledge. Professional experience in the travel industry in the north of Spain, as well as an understanding of tourism and the main online booking systems;
o Competent in API integration and technology sales & deals.
o Language proficiency. Fluent in Spanish and English.
o Location. Bilbao or Galicia.
o Business trips. Working time allocation of 40-50% may be required for visiting customers or attending events. Having your own car is crucial.
o Personal skills. Ambitious, proactive, results-oriented and comfortable with fast-paced business environments.
o Analytical skills. Usage of data to back decisions, innovative and adept at cutting-edge technology, as well as you have experience using KPIs to track success.
o International mindset. Ability to understand and work across culturally diverse environments, reflecting ETG's global presence.
o Be your own CEO. We are looking for individuals who can work independently and take responsibility for their own tasks.
