Job Description
Omega CRM, a leading provider of Customer Experience services with over 20 years of experience in technology applied to marketing, is seeking a Salesforce Release Manager.
This role involves establishing repository logic, inspiring and educating the team on collaborative practices, and managing the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and deployment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Plan the release of project deliverables and the release lifecycle.
2. Create implementation and deployment plans according to the schedule.
3. Communicate plans, timelines, and requirements across teams.
4. Assist in project management to meet milestones and deadlines.
5. Define and structure repositories with necessary tools.
6. Ensure integrity and efficiency of version control and configuration management.
7. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation for faster, consistent development.
8. Promote best practices in collaborative development and repository use.
9. Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve practices.
10. Maintain documentation on procedures, notifications, and dependencies.
11. Ensure alignment between development and production environments.
12. Collaborate with operations on configuration management strategies.
13. Demonstrate flexibility with technologies and manage multiple projects and clients.
14. Proactively address challenges and opportunities.
15. Guide and train junior release managers and foster their professional growth.
16. Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams for consistency and efficiency.
17. Experience in code review within Salesforce environment.
18. Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
Requirements:
1. High proficiency in English.
2. Experience with Agile methodologies.
3. Proven experience with repositories, Salesforce development, and DevOps.
4. Knowledge of Salesforce DX, metadata deployment, Metadata API, SF CLI.
5. Experience with Git, branching strategies, Jenkins, GitLab pipelines.
6. Ability to create automation on Force.com and build CI/CD solutions.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills for evangelizing and training.
8. Open-mindedness to adopting new technologies.
