This role is office based for Valencia, Spain (RAS Valencia - Servicios Profesionales de Recursos Humanos). We can provide relocation assistance if you’re outside the city or country.

Responsibilities
- Projects are completed with no delays, or reasonable delays agreed and confirmed in advance with stakeholders.
- PMO guidelines are strictly followed.
- Necessary project documentation is in place and up to date (Project Brief, Weekly detailed project plan, Requirements, etc).
- All project-related JIRA tasks are in place and up to date - initiatives, epics, bugs.
- Weekly reporting is done.
- Necessary project ceremonies and communications are conducted: project kick-off, weekly project sync and demos, project sign-off, handover to operations and closure.
- Escalations, if needed, are done timely and in a proper way.
- Use recommended tools: Slack channel, Confluence, JIRA, Gmail.
- Control your loading and proactively provide clear and justifiable information on your loading, assignments, plans, and capacity to your manager - ask to load more or unload or keep the loading as is.
- Contribute to the corporate improvement/transformation projects when required (tools, processes, reporting, etc).
- Proactively suggest project/process/organizational improvements.
- Clearly understand stakeholders for each project and maintain a list.
- Regularly inform stakeholders through Slack, Gmail of progress, risks, and changes.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and gather feedback.
- Control team members’ execution of project management responsibilities.
- Manager should know in detail and control capacity, assignments, loading and plans of subordinates.
- Provide regular specific feedback to team members and support growth.
- Establish knowledge sharing in the team.
- Lead dev team resource planning for your stream.
- Handle scope changes for the stream.
- Provide reporting for the stream progress.
- Support Delivery Manager in Quarter Planning.
- Be first escalation point for project issues in the stream.
- Other ad-hoc tasks/projects may appear.
Qualifications
- Working experience in team management, project management, operational excellence or related areas, ideally in software development, technology, or data industries.
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within data engineering, business intelligence (BI), regulations or analytics domains.
- Proven track record managing large-scale data engineering, BI programs or regulation projects involving cross‑functional teams, multiple stakeholders, and complex technical deliverables.
- Experience coordinating with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable data solutions.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and compliance initiatives.
- Proficiency in Agile project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
