About the job :
For our growing Corporate division in Azuqueca de Henares (Spain), we are looking for a: Treasury Manager and Business Controller Spain. Reporting to the Country Controller Spain, your mission will be to manage the day-to-day activities of the Business Controller areas within the organization to ensure tasks are delivered accurately and on time. This includes providing feedback on actuals, deviations, best practices, and trends.
Key responsibilities include:
* Advising other departments with analysis and experience to develop business and financial recommendations, providing budget feedback, and assisting in key financial decisions and strategies.
* Performing financial analysis: completing regular analyses, identifying and managing financial risks, conducting research, evaluating economic and performance data, and managing financial data.
* Reporting financial findings: delivering reports and presentations to financial and executive staff to support decision-making.
* Participating in internal audits, supporting deviation solutions, and implementing action plans.
* Participating in external audits by providing information on deviations and changes.
* Monitoring P&L impacts by analyzing data and preparing reports using specific tools.
* Ensuring correct impact of stock movements on P&L and balance sheet.
* Ensuring proper expense recognition in P&L (invoices, accruals, deferred expenses) and correct allocation to GBUs.
* Matching, analyzing, and investigating purchase price variances and deviations, ensuring proper P&L recognition.
* Reconciling and analyzing COGS, investigating discrepancies.
* Analyzing manufacturing results in P&L.
* Checking the Bill of Materials for accuracy.
* Analyzing internal transfer impacts and reconciling to recognize each GBU's profit.
* Analyzing inventory valuation and overseeing physical counts.
* Managing and reporting on local treasury resources (daily, variance, CFF, etc.).
* Ensuring the bank account structure is correct and managing relationships with banking and financial providers.
Qualifications:
* University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
* Over 5 years of professional experience in Finance and Treasury.
* Experience in a multinational environment.
* Knowledge of analytical and cost accounting.
* Fluent in English.
* Proactive communication skills.
* Proficiency in IT tools (Excel, Hyperion, Business Warehouse, etc.).
* Strong reporting and financial/budgeting process knowledge.
