We combine the ambition of a fast‑growing business with the stability and backing of Flutter’s global scale. /p pWe’re building a new leadership team to shape this next chapter, and we’re looking for energised, collaborative, commercially minded leaders to help us set the vision, craft the strategy, and build on our winning culture. /p pYou won’t just join – you’ll play a key role in shaping the next chapter for PokerStars SEU, with the freedom to make your mark. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pReporting to the Senior Director – Southern Europe, this position will be responsible for the PL and performance of our Spanish market, overseeing a business that generates more than €100m a year in revenues. Working primarily on the PokerStars brand, you will also oversee operations for our Betfair business in Spain, providing strategic guidance and day‑to‑day decision making as part of their leadership team too. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will focus on driving commercial performance and improving the customer experience, leading a multi‑vertical team across Customer Value Management, Content and CX, Product and Proposition Development, Customer Care and Compliance. You will also work closely with the Marketing Director for Southern Europe to ensure we have an integrated and credible plan for customer acquisition growth. We’re looking for a dynamic leader with a strong digital background, capable of both thinking strategically and driving short‑term performance targets. You’ll need excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a diverse working environment and be a very effective stakeholder manager. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 h3Strategic Leadership Country Oversight /h3 ul liFull PL ownership for PokerStars Spain, setting out clear goals and strategy, in line with our ambitions and targets for the market. /li liDevelop and implement a credible plan for achieving those goals, covering key business levers around Promotions, Marketing, Customer Operations Product Development. /li liDrive effective resource allocation, balancing adherence to strategy and plan with short‑term performance trends and targets. /li liDevelop a deep and coherent analysis and understanding of the local market and its consumers. /li liFoster collaboration between Product, Marketing, Acquisition, CVM, Customer Care, and Compliance teams within the country. /li liOversee the day‑to‑day running of the Betfair Spain business. /li /ul h3Financial Performance Management /h3 ul liSet and monitor financial KPIs, ensuring the country achieves revenue and profitability targets. /li liIdentify and capitalize on new revenue streams while optimizing existing business lines. /li liEnhance efficiency in customer value management (CVM), acquisition, and retention strategies. /li liOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the country. /li /ul h3Commercial Planning /h3 ul liLay down a commercial plan for all verticals within the market that reconciles to goals and objectives for the market. /li liLeverage consumer insight and analytics to build high impact plans to deliver the overall strategy. /li liIdentify the key initiatives to drive commercial outcomes, create an outcome focused plan and working environment to deliver them. /li /ul h3Content Management /h3 ul liOversee content localisation and UX/UI efforts, ensuring alignment with business priorities and local market needs. /li liCoordinate cross‑functional workstreams, enabling consistent, high‑impact content and user experiences across regions. /li /ul h3Customer Value Management /h3 ul liDirectly oversee promotional investment plans and execution. /li liBuild a compelling customer contact strategy for players in the market. /li liClosely monitor retention and customer growth KPIs and optimise plans accordingly. /li liCreate a collaborative and dynamic working culture with key delivery partners across Product, Marketing and Analytics. /li /ul h3Integrated Planning and Delivery with Key Partners /h3 ul liWork closely with Marketing, Customer Operations and Product teams to ensure we have an integrated plan for the market. /li /ul h3Leadership Talent Development /h3 ul liBuild and lead a high‑performing country leadership team, ensuring strong execution and focus at the local level. /li liDevelop talent engagement and succession plans to foster leadership growth. /li liChampion a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability across all teams. /li /ul h3Regulatory Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liEnsure full compliance with local iGaming regulations and corporate governance policies. /li liBuild effective relationships with local regulatory bodies, operators, and key external stakeholders. /li liManage relationships with local partners, affiliates, and governmental authorities to support business growth. /li liChampion player protection, promote responsible gaming practices, and embed customer wellbeing at the core of our operations. /li /ul h3Market Expansion Brand Positioning /h3 ul liIdentify new market opportunities within the country, overseeing local go‑to‑market strategies and customer‑centric growth strategies. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 h3Industry Expertise Market Knowledge /h3 ul liExtensive leadership experience, ideally as a Director, GM, or similar role within the iGaming industry. /li liExperience in managing country‑specific operations with a focus on Poker, Sports, and Casino. /li /ul h3Financial Strategic Acumen /h3 ul liStrong business acumen, with a proven track record of driving profitability and scaling operations. /li liExceptional analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills. /li liAbility to develop and execute a comprehensive country strategy that aligns with regional and corporate goals. /li /ul h3Leadership Communication /h3 ul liExceptional people management skills, with experience leading and mentoring senior teams. /li liStrong stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence at all levels. /li liExcellent negotiation and communication skills in English and the local language. /li /ul h3Flexibility Compliance /h3 ul liExperience navigating highly regulated markets and ensuring strict adherence to local laws. /li liAbility to travel
