We are expanding our team at Alén Space and are looking for a Senior AIV Engineer with passion for your work, talent, and experience to lead our Mission Control Center team and help shape the future of space technology.
You will be involved in numerous nanosatellite missions within the company's AIV team. This area is responsible for verifying compliance with spacecraft requirements, as well as their integration and final verification, including all necessary tests. You will plan and coordinate activities with other AIV team members and contribute to the evolution of Alén Space's nanosatellite platforms.
Responsibilities
* Define verification plans from the initial phase of each mission.
* Coordinate the development of AIV procedures and specify AIV tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
* Oversee manufacturing and validation activities.
* Lead environmental testing (thermal-vacuum, vibrations, etc.) and launch campaigns.
* Support Product Assurance activities, including non-conformity management.
Required Skills and Experience
* Over 5 years of experience in AIV roles.
* Knowledge of ECSS standards.
* Experience working in clean rooms and EPA environments.
* Participation in environmental campaigns.
* Fluent in English.
Valuable Additional Knowledge
* Experience with nanosatellite projects.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing approaches.
* Experience with complex subsystems like ADCS and propulsion.
* Familiarity with spacecraft component integration tools and equipment (GSE).
* Knowledge of operation and maintenance of TVC or vibration testing facilities.
