Infinity Finance HUB
BNP Paribas EMEA Finance employs 500 employees, of which more than 325 are based in Madrid. We manage more than 250 BNP Paribas entities from all over Europe, covering +60% of Group’s balance sheet and all group’s banking activities (Corporate & Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Personal Finance and other financial services activities). About The JobMission
Based on the external disclosures, the FS LRR analyst deploys operationally the regulation and normative guidelines on his operational scope.
Based on the data delivered by the Finance SMS, provide reporting, analysis and specific requests.
Produce the monthly reporting to the local regulator authority (French National Bank, ACPR) and respond to ad hoc regulator requests, ensuring timely accurate reporting.
Produce financial statements for external publication and for Finance front office, ensuring their correct valuation and presentation.
Participate in actions plans to solve data quality issues and participate in new projects inquiries (regulatory and other).
ResponsibilitiesSend accurate reporting to regulators on time;
be part of the team responsible for local regulatory reporting of BNP Paribas SA and Financial markets;
ensure monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the local regulators (ACPR and Banque de France);
coordinate with stakeholders;
ensure data quality andinitiate action plans;
perform reconciliationsto ensure consistency with accounting sources;
perform overall controls;
conduct analytical reviews and other relevant analysis;
contribute to projects by providing expertise on reporting issues;
document how controls are performed;
deliver alerts and action plans;
be accountable for the quality of financial data used;
oversee the quality of static data from Referential officers (counterparties, securities, etc.);
ensure all information needed to complete the reporting chain is available.
Requirements
Studies: Business school, University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting, Finance or Engineering Degree.
Experience: 2–4 years in Finance within the Banking sector (Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business/Financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms.
Languages: English, French.
Skills
Technical: Understanding of IFRS and French GAAP for the banking sector;
ability to analyze and challenge accounting numbers;
working knowledgeof GAAP.
Transversal & Behavioral: Organisational skills;
communication skills (oral & written);
experience in international environments is appreciated.
