WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Junior Cyber Threat Analyst, your mission is to support cybersecurity initiatives within the company by participating in defining, executing, and following up on cyber projects, controls, and routine activities to strengthen defenses against threats.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing cybersecurity controls for continuous improvement and threat mitigation
* Analyzing cyber events to detect and respond promptly, identifying root causes, and proposing preventive controls
* Analyzing threat intelligence feeds for proactive threat identification
* Assessing vulnerabilities impacting the business and collaborating with technical teams for remediation
* Supporting Defend services to prevent cyber attacks
* Ensuring timely generation, capture, and delivery of relevant security information and events
* Managing global cyber projects aligned with business needs
* Promoting cybersecurity awareness and fostering a security culture
* Participating in the implementation of cybersecurity strategies and global controls
* Assisting in cybersecurity risk management and third-party security assessments
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required qualifications include:
* Knowledge of cybersecurity in the financial sector
* Experience with cyber controls implementation and oversight
* Understanding of vulnerability management lifecycle and frameworks
* Knowledge of IT security solutions and frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
* Understanding of technical and human aspects of cyber threats
* Ability to understand business context and manage uncertainty
* Strong communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and knowledge of network security devices
* Experience with cloud computing (Azure & AWS), security tools (Sysdig), encryption, and network architecture
