Job Description
The job: As our new Pricing Analyst, you will join our Chromatography Consumables Marketing Operations Team to support revenue and operating income goals through price attainment. You will establish standards, accuracy, strategies, and performance for pricing. This role is offered as fully remote (working from home), based anywhere in Europe, with some international travel up to 10% per year, including overnight stays.
What will you do?
* Provide analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives, including setting list prices, establishing customer-specific discounts, and identifying product conversion opportunities.
* Retrieve, consolidate, analyze, and summarize data from various sources using SQL. Develop tools in SQL and Excel to help set strategic prices, implement pricing improvements, and report financial impacts.
* Support the development and refinement of processes, tools, policies, and procedures to improve price management and performance.
* Partner with and support Commercial leaders to optimize customer pricing realization.
* Address pricing-related inquiries from sales and channel partners.
* Perform ad hoc data analysis as required.
Who we are looking for
* Strong analytical, statistical problem-solving, and data handling skills.
* In-depth experience with SQL, Excel, and relational databases.
* Experience with Crystal Reports, PowerBi, and Visio (or similar tools) is a plus.
* Experience in pricing or financial reporting is an advantage.
* Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
* Ability to work cross-functionally, influence, and build relationships using diplomacy and tact.
* Creative and innovative in presenting ideas.
* Ability to drive projects to successful completion.
* Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% per year, including overnight stays.
* Fluent in English.
