Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your on‑board design expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates. You’ll develop a fully functional ATC On‑Board System Description & Installation Proposal, observing the differences with standard solution applying the specific rules and requirements for the project, establishing its hardware/software configuration and application data features. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (RAMS, validation), develop the interfacing with the rest of systems of the project and with Test & Commissioning team until the commissioning of the whole system is done and much more. You’ll specifically take care of liaising with other teams for a correct communication of the design requirements and decisions to be assessed, tested, or demonstrated.
Responsibilities
* Design system and provide related documents (specification, architecture, interface, etc.).
* Take responsibility for the overall performance of the system and the allocation of the project performance requirements and ensure that these requirements are met.
* Solve technical issues concerning application project.
* Technical management (configuration, change control and requirements).
* Installation Verification.
* Participate in the Gate Reviews (give status on system activities).
* Support application projects in ATC ONB current and future projects.

Qualifications
* University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering related to electric, electronic or automation processes.
* 2 or 3 years with experience as Onboard Railways Engineer or similar in other markets.
* Desirable: Technical knowledge: Signalling, ERTMS, CBTC, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA, system design, Installation design, Installation Verification, Data Preparation.
* Desirable: Knowledge on UNISIG Subsets, especially Subset‑026, 108, 027 & 076 is an advantage.
* Command of English: fluent in conversation and mastered in reading and writing.
* French is desirable.
* CAD (electric/mechanic) application usage is an advantage.
