Elusav are recruiting a Senior Project Planner for one of Europe's largest Engineering Contractors for a Data Center project in Madrid. Fluent English & Spanish required for the position
The Senior Project planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning. Previous experience with Primavera P6 essential. Excellent opportunity to join a market leader in Data Center construction on a major CV defining project.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
* Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
* Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
* Earned Value Management systems.
* Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
* Auditing progress on site.
* Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
* Preparation of tender schedules.
* Preparation of histograms.
* Leading planning meetings.
* Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
* Resource / cash loading of schedules.
* Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
* Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
* Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
* Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
* Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
* Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
* Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
* Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
* Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
* Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
