Ph3Business Unit Head IG/HAE (m/f/x) - Spain /h3 pLocation: Barcelona /p pContract: Fulltime, permanent /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Unit Head IG/HAE to lead our commercial operations in Spain as part of the Iberian Cluster Leadership Team. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving commercial excellence, delivering ambitious growth targets, and ensuring strong cross-functional alignment across the organization. /p pIn this role, you will shape and execute commercial strategies, lead successful product launches, and build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to significantly influence business performance and contribute to sustainable growth. /p pAs Business Unit Head IG/HAE Spain, you will be accountable for the overall commercial performance of the business unit. You will lead a high-performing team, oversee sales and marketing strategies, and ensure alignment with Iberian and global priorities. /p pYou will report to the General Manager and serve as a key member of the Iberian Country Leadership Team, contributing to cluster strategy and organizational success. /p h3The Role /h3 ul liDrive sales performance across key brands, ensuring achievement of revenue, market share, and volume targets /li liOwn and manage the commercial PL, ensuring strong financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and ROI optimization /li liLead annual budgeting and long-term planning (MTP) and monitor performance with proactive corrective actions /li liDevelop and execute the local commercial strategy across sales, marketing, key account management, pricing, and contracting /li liEnsure excellence in product launches, including readiness, execution, and market uptake /li liContribute to integral and regional brand planning processes /li liLead brand strategy and lifecycle management, including brands in Loss of Exclusivity (LoE) /li liDrive market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions /li liIdentify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate business threats /li liAdvance omnichannel maturity, ensuring optimal integration of digital and field activities /li liLeverage innovative approaches to maximize customer engagement and experience /li liDrive strong collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance /li liEnsure all commercial activities comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance standards /li liFacilitate alignment across the Iberian cluster and with global teams /li liBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team /li /ul h3Your Skills and Experience /h3 ul liDegree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field /li liMinimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry /li liProven success in product launches at national or regional level /li liSignificant experience in sales and marketing leadership roles /li liDemonstrated leadership and people management experience /li liStrong financial acumen, including budgeting and PL management /li liExcellent influencing and negotiation skills /li liKnowledge of the local regulatory and compliance environment /li liProfessional fluency in English (written and spoken) /li liWillingness to travel 20-25% /li liMBA or advanced degree in a relevant field /li liExperience working in a Matrix organization /li liTrack record of achieving or maintaining market leadership positions /li /ul h3Reporting Relationships /h3 ul liReports to: General Manager Iberia /li liDirect Reports: Sales Marketing IG/HAE /li /ul h3Why Join Us /h3 ul liInfluence strategy at cluster leadership level /li liLead a high-impact business unit with growth potential /li liWork in a collaborative, cross-functional environment /li liContribute to meaningful outcomes for patients and healthcare systems /li /ul pJoin us and contribute to making a difference in the lives of patients with rare diseases.
