Position Overview
This position is intended to be a hybrid role with responsibilities in inside sales and customer service management. Recruitment will only be open for internal candidates. The role reports directly to the Country Sales Manager Iberia and dotted line to the Customer Service Manager Western EU. Activities will vary depending on the assigned functional area.
Key Responsibilities
As Inside Sales Representative:
* Sells company's products and services by calling prospective and established customers.
* Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
* Maintains sales programs within the territory by informing customers about services, supplies, prices, and new products.
* Responsible for meeting sales quotas.
* Monitors competitive activity and trends.
* May travel to customer locations for follow-up, presentations, or demonstrations.
* Quotes prices, terms, delivery dates based on product knowledge and inventory.
* Prepares reports on activities and results, including monthly sales reports.
* Coordinates with customer service to expedite order fulfillment.
* Investigates and resolves customer concerns promptly.
* Supports overall sales efforts to meet divisional objectives.
* Acts as liaison to Field Sales staff and responds to sales quote requests.
* Identifies and develops new marketing opportunities through various channels.
* Occasionally travels with Field Sales staff, attends trade shows and sales meetings.
* Analyzes customer ROI and applies standard methods for customer analysis.
As Customer Service Representative:
* Provides order management services via phone, fax, web, and email.
* Handles after-sales support and troubleshooting.
* Monitors existing business, identifies demand fluctuations, and forecasts volume changes.
* Provides technical support and product recommendations.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Experience in customer service or sales administration preferred.
* Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Good customer service skills and knowledge of selling techniques.
* Proficiency in English.
