Offer Description
We are seeking to recruit a COFUND Executive Coordinator for the UOC's Doctoral School.
The mission of this role will be to will be to technically coordinate the successful implementation of the COFUND project, acting as Project Officer, while contributing to the transformation of the Doctoral School.
The UOC has obtained an IN2TIC project from the COFUND programme (European Commission), with a contribution of €2.8 million to provide grants to 24 PhD students (2026-2030). COFUND is a programme linked to the MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), which is designed to extend best practices in research training and promote international mobility, and interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral research, both in pre-doctoral and postdoctoral mode. David Masip is the scientific director of the project.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the implementation of COFUND, based on the strategy defined in the project.
* Act as the UOC's representative before the European Commission in this project.
* Assist the COFUND scientific director in the development of the project.
* Coordinate with the Doctoral Technical Office (OTDR), the Scientific and Technical Services (SCT) and the other areas of the UOC.
* Lead the implementation of process and technological improvements for the proper management of the Doctoral School.
* Prepare the documentation related to the project (information guides, review of internal documents that may exist in the School for Doctoral Studies and updating according to the needs of the project).
* Coordinate the calls for proposals: resolution of doubts, contact with the evaluators, coordination of the evaluations, publication of results, etc.
* Act as a contact for doctoral student staff to resolve any doubts and needs they may have.
* Improve the management processes related to the recruitment, reception, etc., of doctoral students.
* Manage courses and mobilities, as well as events/workshops that are included in the work plan.
* Coordinate the implementation of the learning resources foreseen in the COFUND project.
* Carry out monitoring tasks of the documentation that the doctoral students have to hand in over the years.
* Manage the evaluation processes over the years.
* Produce monitoring reports for the European Commission.
Manage data and indicators of achievement, both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be awarded an open-ended full time contract. The scheduled start date is July.
For work on site, the principal location will be the UOC Campus, at Rambla del Poblenou 154-156, Barcelona. At the UOC, we work with an open working model that combines remote working with work on-site, according to organizational needs and the nature of the tasks involved.
* At least five years' experience in coordinating high-performance teams.
* Proficiency in office automation tools at an advanced level.
* Fluency in Catalan and Spanish, both oral and written.
* Level of English from B2 or equivalent to the First Certificate.
* High level of initiative, organisational skills and teamwork.
